Installation of a PV System at Ernst-Abbe-Weg 1

LAYERTEC has installed a total of 1,196 modules with a capacity of 520 kWp on the roofs of the Ernst-Abbe-Weg 1 site. The integration into the power grid is still pending but will take place shortly in cooperation with our energy network operator, TEN-Thüringer Energienetze.

In the future, LAYERTEC will cover approximately 10 % of its electricity needs through the installed PV system, contributing significantly to a carbon-neutral power supply. For comparison, the PV system of a single-family home typically has between 20 and 30 modules.
